So, the story is this:

My Uncle Scott was helping the neighbors with the outside of their house (everything here in Kansas can dangerously overgrow because it's so fertile) when they had to run to the store for an hour. He was still using the ladder, which he said he'd put back in their garage when he was done.

Well, they got back and
just found him there. Laying on the garage floor.

They called 911 and tried to get my aunt who was at work. It gets blurry from there because all of my cousins were called, we were called, and the past two days my parents were helping contact all our kin (I've got siblings in Cali and up north, Dad's sister is down in Texas, etc) as we take shifts staying with my Aunt Carol who's...honestly, I don't blame her for being a wreck.

My uncle was NOT an unhealthy man at his age. He has a GYM in his basement, he was ALWAYS running around doing heavy lifting and fixing things. He...He wasn't an old man by far...

The coroner's report should come in tomorrow. We'll know what to tell everybody then, but best guess is that he had a heart attack and passed instantly.

If I'm super sparse and not on here, I have a couple of tumblrs I check constantly as well as Skype.

the-alice-blue-rabbit.tumblr.com is my main, shygunfire.tumblr.com is my Maru, lopmeadows.tumblr.com is my personal. I'll be trying to keep the hype for AfterMask alive, I mean dammit me and :iconinfernal-arms: have been working all summer on it, but...

Just understand, if it seems quiet for a while...We're dealing with stuff. Thank you for everybody who's been giving support at this time. Messages might be little more than words on a screen, but it means the world to me to have people who can understand what I'm going through. I lost my grandfather, who actually raised me, on New Year's this year, and a few months after that my aunt's mother lost her husband. Our clan's by no means alarmingly smaller now but...These men have been beacons who will be greatly missed.

I've probably gone on a little too long at this point but rambling pointlessly is a common symptom of loss. Thank you if you took the time to read all of this.

You haven't gone too long with your rambling. It's horrible to lose others, so letting it out will only help, even if only a bit. I hope you'll be alright.
