((YUP. YOU READ THAT RIGHT. EVEN THIS BASTARD. WHOM IS OWNED BY KANG IM AND NOT ME, GO SUPPORT THE TAL WEBTOON ON NAVER))

Yangban wasn't particularly pleased.

His gayageum* [Korean string instrument] wasn't tuning correctly no matter WHAT he did, and he suspected Sun Bi had to do with that, as the uncultured swine was snickering at him and had been the entire hour he'd been attempting to fix his poor instrument.

It was a very cold day, which was why Yangban was unable to go outside and away from the annoyances, including the puny Second's rather distasteful associates. The dark mafia-looking one, the bizarre 'twin' he had, and the young blond whom was currently foolish enough to be the one sitting 'closest' to Yangban at the moment, reading a book.

He breathed in deeply to quell any emotion rising up at Sun Bi's attempt to get under his skin, and attempted to tune his gayageum once more.

-BAM!-

Even he jumped as the blond young one slammed his book shut, looking hellishly irritated.

The next second was a moment of bewilderment for the TAL, as the younger Chachaoong actually reached over and yanked Yangban's instrument from his hands. Jaws around the room dropped as Yangban could only stare while the blond rapidly began to mess with the string instrument, fingers shifting around the string cords as he tilted his ear towards the gayageum.

Finally, after about five minutes, the instrument was roughly handed back to Yangban, the young blond glowering at him.

He hesitated before replaying the scale...which came out perfect.

That satisfied the young one who smiled, turned back, opened his book back to the page he'd been on, and resumed reading. Jaws were still dropped as the young blond acted as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened, only glancing up when the mafia-looking gunner made a vaguely shocked noise.

"What? It was bothering me too."

Yangban never attempted to play that afternoon, just watching the blond (Maru? Gang Maru or something close) with an uneasy squint. He wasn't exactly sure why his palms felt warmer than usual, or why his ears started to thrum when he was looking at the young one, but he was even less pleased by not knowing why Sun Bi was sniggering even harder now, or why the mafia gunman was death-glaring him.

Or why he was sidling closer to the young one every other moment.
I noticed some of my Maru pairings tend to dip into the spectrum of 'how-can-I-give-Mu-Young-a-heart-attack-this-time?' I'm not going to stop.
