First Step (IgRu)

((This pairing has a very dear place in my heart, even though I own none of the characters, their rightful creator being Kang Im go support the webtoon on Naver ya'll.))

"U-Uhm, I-Ignatio-Nim?"

Mu Young and his twin looked up to see Maru shyly moving his feet and staring at the ground, red in the cheeks. "Maru?" The elder tilted his head, eyebrows doing the same as Jin welcomed the other student into the house.

"Chickpea~!" Ignatio lunged for the blond, wrapping him in a tight welcome hug. "You got new clothes too huh?"

Maru had on his red jacket, black shirt tucked in his waist hem, and black boots in place of his usual shoes. "U-Uhm, do you like? Hyung-Nim got me these last year for Christmas but I wasn't able to wear them for long." Maru smiles a bit once Ignatio lets go and straightens the jacket while the red gets brighter in his face. "D-Do I look nice?"

"You look really bright Chickpea!" The green-eyed twin answers obliviously, the inhabitants of the house catching on more quickly and squinting at the two.

Maru then rocked back on his feet, arms behind his back. "W-Were you busy today? I-I wanted to know if it was okay to, uhm..."

"Eh? We're not busy, right Lang?" Ignatio looked back to his brother, blinking at the withering look he was shot.

The younger Chachaoong cleared his throat, gaze on the ground again. "I-I was m-meaning you, actually, Ignatio-Nim. J-Just you."

"Me?"

Ignatio's oblivious air was only adding to Maru's visible suffering. "I-I-I wanted t-to know if y-you wanted to g-g-go to get something to eat w-with me!" The blond stuttered out, Mu Young cringing at his subordinate's meekness taking over.

"That's fine with me!, C'mon Lang, let's go get food with Chickpea!" Mu Young shot his twin a glower that took Ignatio aback.

A weird noise made him turn back around, and Ignatio immediately panicked as he saw Maru hiding his face in his sleeves. "Chickpea?! What is it?! Are you hurt?!"

"I'm so stupid, just forget this please."

And before Ignatio could even begin to figure out what the fudge was going on, Maru had darted back out the door.

"...Lang, what's wrong with Chick-" And that would be his now murderous brother up in his face. A sweatdrop rolled down Ignatio's head as Mu Young grabbed him by the collar of his jacket and shirt and lifted him up.

The expression his twin had on scared him. A lot. "Go after him and say yes or so help me I will break your face in half."

"Yes to what?"

Jin facepalmed. "Maru-Hyung was asking you on a DATE, Ignatio-Hyung!"

"...WHAT?!"
