Betrayal (SaeToya)

((Got inspired for this one, figured I'd get it cranked out before the idea slipped away. I don't own TAL or it's characters, so please support the webtoon on Naver and show Kang Im that love~!))

"Sae Ha."

The Sun Bi stiffened, turning around to scowl at Gotoya. He was in the middle of the area he'd been taking down the 'dolls' as 'Henry' called them, the doll-toting Chachaoong himself securely imprisoned by Gasun. "What the hell do you want?"

"Please, I..." The Yongma floundered for a moment, giving the TAL the perfect opportunity to vocally bite his head off.

The shorter male stormed up to him, and despite being less in height, Gotoya found himself leaning back and Sae Ha shook his finger in the beast's face. "Please WHAT?" The red had gotten over-saturated in his eyes, no visible trace of the green that Gotoya had fallen for left in the TAL's irises.  "What the HELL do you think you have any right asking me for?!"

"...N-Nothing..." Gotoya admitted, lowering his white eyes to the ground.

It didn't placate Sae Ha. "You're damn right about that. This whole time, not ONCE did you say anything, NOT ONCE did you even make mention, and look what's happened now!" The Sun Bi was stepping forward, hair frizzed like an angry dog, and Gotoya backed up a step every time the TAL took one forward. "Another TAL is DEAD. You LIED to us. You lied to ME. Baek-Jung is DEAD. Wasn't he your friend?! You could've done something to save him, couldn't you?!"

"...My...My Master is-"

Sae Ha's teeth gritted, and the beast swore the red began to glow like a furnace had been lit. "That bastard dragged us all into this, but you went on and on about having your own will. Was that just bullshit you spewed for my sympathy?!"

Gotoya bit his lip.

"Admit it, you could've saved him! You could've stopped this all! You- MMPH?!?!" Gotoya had grabbed Sae Ha's shoulders, sealing his mouth over the Sun Bi's to halt his tirade. Sae Ha went limp in the hold, lips bitten shut from the inside to keep Gotoya's tongue out, and when the Yongma pulled back a bit Sae Ha calmly and sharply smacked Gotoya in the cheek, white strands flying about at the jolting motion. "...Don't you even try to approach me. I don't want to SEE YOU or HEAR YOU or even sense your presence NEAR ME."

Gotoya let go of Sun Bi's shoulders, the right side of his pale face red.

"...You're no better than Bi Gak's beast in the end."

The barb made him flinch, and Gotoya raised his eyes in time to see Ignatio staring back at them with his new odd flame-like eyes. The Chachaoong waited eerily patiently as Sae Ha briskly walked up to him, lowering his head as Ignatio put his arm around the Sun Bi's shoulders, the two going to walk off together.

Gotoya's robes billowed about for a moment, and he turned his head to see his Master staring after the two. "...I didn't know."

"...It doesn't matter." Gotoya turned on his heel. "Not to a beast."

Ja Yun watched as his beast took off, and after a final glance at the group the Sun Bi had rejoined, he too took off into the grey horizon.
